Philosophy of the Kerala tour:
  • Periyar Safari needs to be booked online in advance. 
  • Kumarakom / Alleppy are the backwater place. There are no sightseeing at this place. One has to enjoy the backwaters & its scenic beauty.
  • Drivers of South India cannot communicate in Hindi at all. They will only co-ordinate in English but their English is not very fluent .They follow the tour itinerary & will communicate only for the schedule & sightseeing places.  They will not be able to guide or give complete details about any sightseeing place. Basically they are drivers & not guides.

  • These rates are not valid for Long weekends, Peak season & Festive dates.

Please Note :

  • The Safari for the National Park is at optional cost & it needs to be booked by the clients themselves thru the concern government website of the particular national park.
  • It is advisable to book the safari immediately after the hotel booking is done because the safari slots are subject to availability & during peak season it gets booked well in advance.
  • Only the Nagarhole National Park ( Kabini Safari ) & Bandipur Safari has to be booked directly at the hotel at the time of check-in.

  • Cost for Insurance Premiums, Rafting Charges, Jeep Safari or water sport activities.
  • Cost for service provided on a personal request.
  • Cost for personal expenses such as Minibar, laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter Charges, tips etc.
  • Difference in cost arising due to change in Taxes by the Government which will have to be collected directly on arrival .
  • Difference in cost arising due to change in Fuel price.
  • Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Anything which is not mentioned in inclusions.
  • All monuments are from outside unless mentioned in inclusions
  • AC in the vehicle will not be kept on when the vehicle is not moving . i.e. When the vehicle is parked at some sightseeing place, restaurant or any place , the AC will not be kept on.

Payment Policy

  • Initial deposit - 30% of Tour cost per person to confirm you’re booking with us
  • 100% payment to be made at least 20 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy

  • 45-30 days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost
  • 30-15 days prior to the departure 50% of the tour cost
  • 15-07 days prior to the departure - 75% of the tour cost
  • 07 or less than 07 days prior to the departure - 100% of the tour cost

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Clothing: Light cotton clothes, sunscreen, and comfortable footwear.
  • Accessories: Hats, sunglasses, and umbrellas (especially during the monsoon)
  • Bisi Bele Bath: A spicy rice and lentil dish.
  • Mysore Pak: A traditional sweet.
  • Ragi Mudde: Finger millet balls served with curry.
  • Neer Dosa: Thin rice crepes.
  • Mangalorean Fish Curry: A spicy seafood delicacy.
  • Sometimes there are  uncertain strike of transport or vehicles, in such cases, whatever best possible decision required at that  time will be taken by the agent. 
  • AC will remain off on hilly drives
  • Night travelling or driving is not allowed 
  • Please note: Please be patient because sometimes transportation can be late, and even be ready for some changes.
  • The drivers will not be able to guide you & give the detailed information about any place, His role is to follow the tour itinerary & take the clients to the places or sightseeing mentioned in the tour. 
  • There is a common tendency of the drivers that they recommend you some specific places or shops for the shopping. If you feel that the recommended shop is good only than you should do shopping from that place otherwise you can ask him to take to some other place which you have searched.

Entrance Fees & Optional Activities:

  • Nagarhole National Park ( Kabini Safari ) has to be booked directly at the hotel at the time of check-in. Only Canter safari and boat safari is possible to book.
  • Client staying in Evolve back resort kabini and Jungle Lodge Kabini, can also book Jeep safari. The same can be booked in advance with the resort at the time of confirming the trip. 
  • Jeep safari at Evolve back Kabini is subject to availability as it has only limited seats.
  • Bangalore: Gardens, nightlife, and tech hubs.
  • Mysore: Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, and Dasara Festival.
  • Coorg: Coffee plantations and serene landscapes.
  • Hampi: UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient ruins.
  • Chikmagalur: Coffee estates and trekking trails.
  • Gokarna: Pristine beaches and temples.
  • Kabini - Nagarhole National Park: Wildlife safaris.

  • Tree house : They are usually located far from reception area, its quite raw and rustic with basic amenities. No luxurious interiors. Insects, lizards dampness might be bothersome. Room & bathroom is not spacious
  • Insects, Lizards, Smell of water is bothersome, in monsoon and mainly in areas of  Coorg, Chikmaglaur, Wayanad , Kabini,. 
  • Many hotels in Coorg, Chikmaglaur, Wayanad  do not have AC in rooms and Elevator in the hotel. 
  • There might be some walk  uphill to reach to certain hotels in hill station.
