Best time to visit in London

London has temperate maritime climate with moderate temperatures during most of the year. During summers, the average temperature is around 21–24°C. Winters can get really cold with average temperature ranging around 5–8 °C but London does not regularly witness a significant amount of snowfall. The busiest tourist season in London is during late spring and warm summer months, that is from May to September. During Christmas and year-end too there is a mad rush of tourists flocking the city to shop and enjoy the festive season.  It is ideal to book well in advance if you plan to go during these months and expect high prices and crowded tourist spots. From October to November and March to April are relatively slower tourist seasons where the weather can be unpredictable and unpleasant. January and February are usually not preferred as the temperatures fall too low and rainfall becomes frequent and heavy – if you don’t mind the weather, it is cheaper to visit London during this off season.
