King Abdullah I Mosque

Completed in 1989 as a memorial by the late King Hussein to his grand dad, this blue-domed milestone can house up to 7000 worshippers, with a further 3000 in the yard. There is likewise a small women’s segment for 500 admirers and an a lot littler illustrious walled in area. The enormous, octagonal supplication corridor is topped by a sublime blue arch 35m in distance across, adorned with Quranic engravings. This is the main mosque in Amman that straightforwardly invites non-Muslim guests.
