Jordan Archaeological Museum

It was built in 1951 to be a social focus and national gallery it shows different objects of archaeological locales discovered during excavations every where throughout the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The museum houses artefacts from different archaeological sites of the country, from Palaeolithic to the Islamic Era. The collection is arranged in chronological order and includes pottery, glass, metal tools, jewellery and coin collections.
