<p style="text-align: justify; ">Sarnath, archaeological site north of Varanasi, eastern Uttar Pradesh state, northern India. According to tradition, it was there that the Buddha first began teaching his followers. The site contains a stupa (shrine) and the famous lion-capital memorial pillar, which was erected by the 3rd-century-BCE Mauryan emperor Ashoka and is now the state emblem of India.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Archaeological remains of Sarnath are located at north-eastern tip of the city of Varanasi, a famous town in Uttar Pradesh which is well connected by air, road and railways with other parts of the country.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Sarnath is one amongst the four most sacred places for the Buddhist where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. The event is known as Dharma Chakra Pravartana or setting the ‘Wheel of Law’ in motion. The other three are Lumbini, Bodhgaya and Kushinagar being the places of his birth, enlightenment and nirvana respectively. The very first ‘Sangh’ was also founded over here with sixty one monks including Lord Buddha, his five erstwhile companions and Yasha a merchant of Kasi with his fifty four fellows. Sarnath is equally sacred to Jains being the venue of austerities and death of Sreyansanath, the eleventh Tirthankara.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">The archaeological significance of the place was first brought to the notice of modern world by Mr. J. Duncan in 1798 who gave an account of the casket of green marble inside a stone box exposed by the workmen of Jagat Singh, the Dewan of King Chet Singh of Benaras while dismantling the Dharmarajika stupa to exploit building materials. Excavations carried out by Archaeological Survey of India on large scale from time to time has revealed a number of monasteries, stupas, temples, inscriptions, sculptures and other antiquities ranging in date from 3rd century B.C. to 12th century A.D.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">The most imposing structure at Sarnath is the Dhamekh stupa, a solid cylindrical tower about 28.5 mts in diameter at base and raising to a height of about 33.5 mts. It is veneered with sand stone upto the height of 11.20 mts and provided with niches in eight directions which must have once held images. Below the niches runs a broad course of beautifully carved elaborate ornamentation which represents high skill of workmanship on stone during Gupta period. Dharmrajika stupa, Mulagandhakuti shrine, Dharma chakra jina vihara and apsidal chapel are some other significant structures in addition to a number of monasteries, shrines and votive stupas. A little west of the Mulangadha kuti are kept the fragments of 15.25 mts high Asokan pillar bearing his edict and two later inscriptions. It was originally crowned by famous four lion capital, the most magnificent sculpture of Mauryan art which is now the National emblem of the government of India.<br></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Another remarkable structure, the Chaukhandi stupa located about half a kilometre south of the main complex is a three tiered (Trimedhi) stupa of Gupta period. It is surmounted by an octagonal superstructure constructed during Mughal period to commemorate Humayun’s one night stay at this spot.</p>

The Anand Bhavan is a historic house museum in Prayagraj, India, previously known as Allahabad, focusing on the Nehru Family. It was bought by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the residence of the Nehru family when the original mansion Swaraj Bhavan (previously called Anand Bhavan) was transformed into the local headquarters of the Indian National Congress. Jawahar Planetarium, the planetarium is situated here, which has been striving to inculcate scientific temper among masses through its sky shows on astronomy and science.Anand Bhavan was donated to Indian government in 1970 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the granddaughter of Motilal Nehru and daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru.

<p style="text-align: justify; ">In Hindu tradition, Triveni Sangam is the confluence of three rivers that is also a sacred place, with a bath here said to flush away all of one's sins and free one from the cycle of rebirth</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; ">Some 500 metres north of Prayagraj Fort, there lies a renowned religious site - Bade Hanuman Ji Temple. Also called Lete Hanuman Mandir, the shrine is an underground pit which houses an enormous image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. This is the only Lord Hanuman temple in the world the idol in reclining position. Another interesting thing to know about this popular Hindu temple in Prayagraj, is that one side of Lord Hanuman’s statue is half immersed in the water of the River Ganges. In the monsoon season when the water level rises, it is believed that the water of the river rises to touch the feet of the deity. During this time, a lot of devotees come to visit this sacred sight. Inside the temple, there is a sanctum which houses the idol of Lord Hanuman which lies 8.1 feet below the shrine.</p>

<p>The Allahabad Museum is a national-level museum in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1931, it is known for its rich collection and unique objects of art, and is funded by Ministry of Culture.</p><p>In 1863, the Board of Revenue requested the Government of North- Western Provinces for the establishment of a public library and a museum. With donations from the provincial government, the famous Orientalist Sir William Muir and the Maharaja of Vijaynagaram, a superintendent of the library and museum was appointed and an ornate building was inaugurated in 1878 to house the collection. For unforeseen reasons or due to paucity of fund the museum was closed down in 1881. With the initiative of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the President of the Allahabad Municipal Board and Pt. Brijmohan Vyas in the 1923-24 efforts were made to establish a new museum in the city. It was under the operational direction of Pandit Brij Mohan Vyas, the executive officer of the board, a museum was opened in the Municipal Building in 1931. Under the tutelage of Pandit Vyas, the museum acquired important collections, including ancient sculptures from Bharhut and Bhumra as well as the art collections of Abanindranath Tagore, Jamini Roy, Gaganendranath Tagore, Asit Kumar Haldar of the Bengal School Paintings also the collection of paintings of the European artists like Nicholas Roerich and Anagarik Govinda, a German monk whose collection enabled the museum to create galleries of modern art in the museum. In 1942, S.C. Kala the first curator gave the much needed impetus to enriching the collections of the museum, especially adding the Nehru Personalia Collection and as space became a constraint, it was decided that the museum should be shifted from the Municipal Board building to a new premises. The foundation stone of the present museum building was laid on 14th December 1947 by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the museum was opened to the public in 1954 in the Chandra Sekhar Azad Park or the company bagh area. But the real turning point of the fate of the museum came in the year 1986 after realizing its significance of the diversity of its rich collections of archaeological artifacts, art treasures the museum was taken over by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India after constituting an autonomous body called Allahabad Museum Society, and declared it a museum of national importance under the Ministry of Culture Government of India. Presently the museum is under the financial control of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and the ex-officio Chairman of the museum is the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.<br></p>

<p>The Ramnagar Fort is a fortification in Ramnagar, Varanasi, India. It is located near the Ganga River on its eastern bank, opposite to the Tulsi Ghat. The sandstone structure was built in the Mughal style in 1750 by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh. At present, the fort is not in a good shape. It has been the home of Kashi Naresh since the eighteenth century. The current king and the resident of the fort is Pelu Bhiru Singh, who is also known as the Maharaja of Varanasi even though this royal title has been abolished since 1971.</p><p>The Ramnagar Fort is a fortification in Ramnagar, Varanasi, India. The museum has 6,832 sculptures and artefacts.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">To keep the antiquities found from the site, a decision was taken in 1904 by the Government to construct a site museum adjacent to the excavated site at Sarnath. It was due to initiative of Sir John Marshall, the then Director General of Archaeology in India, that this museum was created. The plans were prepared by Mr. James Ramson, the then consulting Architect to the Government of India. The building was completed in 1910 to house, display and study the antiquities in their right perspective. The building forms half of a monastery (Sangharam) in plan.<br></p>

<p>Allahabad Fort is a fort built by the Mughal emperor Akbar at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India in 1583. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near its confluence with the river Ganges. Abu'l-Fazl, in his Akbarnama writes:[2]</p><p><br></p><p>For a long time [Akbar's] desire was to found a great city in the town of Piyag [Prayag], where the rivers Ganges and Jamna join, and which is regarded by the people of India with much reverence, and which is a place of pilgrimage for the ascetics of that country, and to build a choice fort there.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Abu'l Fazl, Akbarnama</b></p><p>Akbar named the fort Illahabas ("blessed by Allah"), which later became "Allahabad".[2] According to Catherine Asher, the construction of the fort was a response to several uprisings that had been taking place in eastern India.[3] Besides the strategic location of Allahabad, Akbar is also thought to have been motivated by the ability to collect taxes from the large number of pilgrims visiting the Triveni Sangam. However, this seems unlikely, considering the fact that Akbar abolished the existing pilgrim taxes in 1563.</p>

<p>Bharat Kala Bhavan is a University museum located in Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. It has been instrumental in the dissemination of knowledge on Indian art and culture. It is one of the important touristic attractions in the Banaras Hindu University and in Varanasi city.</p><p>Bharat Kala Bhavan, museum came into existence in January 1920 as Bharat Kala Parishad. Its first Honorable Chairman (for life) was poet Rabindranath Tagore and its Honorable Vice-Chairman was poet’s nephew Silpacharya Abanindranth Tagore.&nbsp; But in reality, the credit for the origin and subsequent development of this museum goes to Padmavibhushan Late Rai Krishnadasa – a renowned writer in Hindi and a pioneer among the Indian art historians.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Founded with a modest&nbsp; collection, the museum has a record of steady growth and its present holding exceeds 100,000 antiquities. The collection includes archaeological materials, paintings, textiles and costumes, decorative art, Indian philately and literary and archival&nbsp; &nbsp;materials. Most of its collections are historically important, aesthetically beautiful and enjoy a certain amount&nbsp; of uniqueness. The museum is fully dedicated to the cause of higher education and multidisciplinary research.</p><p>The academic possibilities of this museum being immense, it has acquired the status of a university museum of national importance.</p>

<div>Hotel: Hotel was very nice and comfortable room arrangement as i got twin room which is more spacious then 2 BHK. Location is very near to little India and all Indian food items available within one KM range. I recommend this Hotel apartment for Family of Four and above.</div>
<div>Transportation: Pick up and drop timing maintained through out Tour. All drivers were cooperative and polite.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Local agent: Local agent is responsive and all vouchers and tickets were perfect.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Cruise: Cruise was fantastic, food was good and other area was impressive except there is to much rush at restaurant and mesh up for siting. Check in and boarding process is to long due to 3500 passengers. It took 5 hours to board my room and that was hectic time. I recommend minimum 3 nights cruise.</div>
<div>SENTOSA is joyful area and I have 20 admission per person which is more then enough as we can enjoy all type off rides. Enjoyed 3D/4D shows, Madam tusade museum, SEA, wings of time, sky tower, beach area, mono rail, two cable car.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Bicycle Tour: Fully enjoyed bicycle tour with guide and i am recommending this tour as on bi cycle covered most at marina bay area and it is fantastic to roam on bi cycle at this area. There was little bit confusion over location of starting point as driver dont know location and he has dropped 3 KM away but I have managed with support of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Maitri</span>. <div>City Tour: City tour with flyer enjoyed with experienced guide. Need more then 4 hours for city tour with flyer. Evening enjoyed flower dome, cloud forest and MBS park.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Jurong bird park was good but very short time for bird lovers. Night safari not enjoyed as nothing to see in dark nights and very limited animals available in this area and also too late. I am not recommending this tour. I thing Zoo is better then this as in day light we can see all animals clearly.</div>

Enjoyed Whole Trip To Singapore and Malaysia

<div>Visits to the Disney Land, Eiffel tower and Madame tussauds in UK were a great experience to my children whereas visits to Swarovski, the glass factory and in particular, all the time spent of the street shopping were delightful experiences to my wife. We did enjoy the pedaling boat ride at Edinburg and Gondola ride in Venice. And of course the highlight was Mt Titlis and Jungfrau which are truly amazing.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>
