  • Please note Gulmarg is a walking town. Vehicles of other cities are not allowed here. So only for pick-up & drop during your hotel c/in & c/out the vehicle will come than it will go back to Tanmarg town.
  • When there is snow on the roads , the common car cannot go up to Gulmarg town due to snow so a snow car needs to be hired by guest (at optional cost) to reach to the hotel. This optional cost has to be paid by the guest directly to the driver.
  • Senior citizens or family with kids who finds difficult to explore Gulmarg town by walk can even hire a pony or a local union car to explore Gulmarg town at optional cost.
  • In Gulmarg, the cable car station is situated at the walking distance from almost all the hotels so one can go to cable car station by a walk or else through the pony or union car (cost is optional).

  • Cost for Insurance Premiums, Rafting Charges or water sport activities.
  • Cost for service provided on a personal request.
  • Cost for personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter Charges, tips etc.

Cancellation Policy

  • 45-30 days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost
  • 30-15 days prior to the departure 50% of the tour cost
  • 15-07 days prior to the departure - 75% of the tour cost
  • 07 or less than 07 days prior to the departure - 100% of the tour cost

  • Roads are very well connected with National Highway. Inner Road is still better.
  • Luxury Vehicles with good quality, like any Sedan Car & SUV cars, are available in this region.
  • Vehicles above 8 Seater can be like Tempo Traveller. Most Vehicles here will be Non – A.C.
  • The vehicles like Tempo Traveller & coaches are modified as per the roads of the particular region because these are hilly areas. Here the vehicles are narrow, the leg space is less & also the seats are non-push back seats
  • Every City has a Union of Transportation that needs to be used for Local Sightseeing at additional cost. These unions work in Gulmarg, Sonamarg & Pahalgam.
  • It is compulsory to use a vehicle from them.
  • There might be a shortage of Vehicles during peak season.
  • Night travelling or driving is not allowed 
  • Please Note: Please be patient because sometimes transportation can be late, and even be ready for some changes.

Srinagar

  • Dal Lake: If you are staying in Houseboat than the transfers to the boat is thru the small row boat called Shikara. 

Gulmarg

  • Cable Car (at optional cost) – Client needs to book the cable car tickets online on below link on their own.
  • You can book your cable car tkts online for the next day of Gulmarg c/in. https://www.jammukashmircablecar.com/
  • Snow Car is used (Compulsory Tanmarg to Gulmarg between November to February Due to Snow on the Road). The snow car cost is never included in the pkg cost because it is seasonal & depends on the snow fall so at time of travelling , if the snow care is required than the client has to pay for it directly to the driver . 
  • The vehicle booked for the tour will not be allowed in Gulmarg so to explore the Gulmarg town one has to either walk or take a local union car or a pony which is at additional cost & to be paid directly. 

Pahalgam

  • While traveling to Aru Valley / Chandanwadi & Betab Valley, you need to travel by Union Vehicle, which can be available from the Union Vehicle Parking in Pahalgam.
  • Rest all Places you can travel by your car which is in service or booked by you thought your tour. 

Sonamarg

  • While traveling to Zero Point, you need to take the Union Car which is at additional cost.
  • While visiting the Thajiwas Glacier area, you only need to travel by Pony Ride, available from the Union Vehicle Parking area in Sonamarg.

Cash

  • Credit Cards and Debit Cards will not work at some sightseeing places
  • Pony Rides, Local Restaurants, and Local Shops don't accept the Cards. We suggest you always carry some cash.
  • Situated in the Dal Lake, Houseboats are stable and fixed and cannot be moved from their Place.
  • Since it has been a landmark of Kashmir, you can enjoy the Kashmir culture and its local hospitality.
  • The houseboats here are with different room inventory i.e. starting from 2 bed room to 5 bedrooms & the houseboat booking is as per the availability.
  • The meals here are served at table in the dining room of the houseboat. It will not be buffet meals at houseboat. 
  • Due to the hilly terrain, you might need to do some walking as hotels don't give lift facilities and so be prepared to climb stairs. 
  • Also the resorts involve few steps & walking because they are built up in the hilly terrain so not necessary that it will be on a flat surface. 
  • The vehicles used here are Sedan car, Innova, Innova Crysta, tempo traveller, coach depending on the number of passengers.
  • The condition of the vehicle especially of the bigger vehicles like tempo traveller & coach will not be upto the mark due to the hilly areas & road conditions.  
  • The drivers will not be able to guide you & give the detailed information about any place, His role is to follow the tour itinerary & take the clients to the places or sightseeing mentioned in the tour. 
  • There is a common tendency of the drivers that they recommend you some specific places or shops for the shopping. If you feel that the recommended shop is good only than you should do shopping from that place otherwise you can ask him to take to some other place which you have searched.
