• Many islands have restrictions to travel to and one must respect the local tribal areas rules for visiting. 
• We must try and preserve the nature of these beautiful islands by leaving minimum foot makes when here to protect the eco system and the beauty of the islands.

• Travel documents required to visit Andamans are – Adhar card/driving license/voter’s id, itinerary, flight ticket, hotel confirmation vouchers & now vaccination certificate. 
• It is advisable to reach 2 hrs prior to the departure time of the flight for smooth & easy check-in 
• Pls do not pack any valuables or currency in your check-in baggage.
• Entry Formality & document for NRI / OCI / PIO Card Holder - As per the latest Immigration Rules - NRI /OCI / PIO card Holder will have to carry Original Passport along with Visa / OCI / PIO Card while travelling.
• Their entry procedure to Andaman Islands will be same as per the Foreign National travelling into Andamans. These guests will be allowed to visit Port Blair, Neil, Havelock, Diglipur and Long Island with a valid permit. 
• The Restricted Access Permit applicable to NRI / OCI / PIO card Holder and Foreign Nationals is issued on arrival at the Airport at no extra cost. A Valid Indian Visa is mandatory to get a Restricted Access Permit. If a NRI/ OCI/ PIO National walks out of the airport without the RAP the hotel will not allow a check in and the same can become a Police Case. Do inform the guest to ensure that he gets the RAP. The RAP Process takes 20 minutes approx. subject to the foreign arrivals and no charges are applicable for the same.

• Due to non-availability of carriers in the vehicle in Andaman Islands, maximum seating capacity in 1 AC Vehicle is 5 people including children. If in case the guest wants to accommodate 6th person in the same vehicle, then the guest must opt for an extra luggage van Good quality vehicles from sedan car & SUV cars, Tempo travelers and Coaches are available for private taxis. 
• Local transports are available in entire Local buses, taxis, auto rickshaw, bikes. 
• The transport vehicle will generally follow pre-approved itinerary by the agent.  So if you wish to have the car for yourself to places other than itinerary - Pre approval is required, it can be done at an additional costs.
• Internal travelling from one island to another, the guest has to travel by Ferries like Green ocean Ferry, Makruzz, Nautica as per availability and has to be booked once the booking is confirmed. Seating in the ferry and timings are strictly as per availability
• Please note: Please be patient because sometimes transportation can be late, and even be ready for some changes.
• The drivers will not be able to guide you & give the detailed information about any place, His role is to follow the tour itinerary & take the clients to the places or sightseeing mentioned in the tour. 
• There is a common tendency of the drivers that they recommend you some specific places or shops for the shopping. If you feel that the recommended shop is good only than you should do shopping from that place otherwise you can ask him to take to some other place which you have searched.  
•  The boats to Elephant Beach are managed by a boat association who need individual guest consent forms after which boats are allotted based on rotation and sharing basis. Due to limited boats, guest may have to wait until their boat is allotted and please note that we have no control over the wait time

AIRPORT: Flights to Andaman are easily available online. The capital city Port Blair has an air terminal named the Veer Savarkar International Airport which is very much associated with significant cities in India. Various carriers offer trips to Andaman including Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Vistara

SEA: The Andaman Islands can also be reached by sea. Regular passenger ships are operated by the Shipping Corporation of India between the Indian mainland and Port Blair. The journey by sea takes approximately 50-60 hours and the ships to Andaman usually depart from Chennai, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam. However, this mode of transportation is not very popular due to the long travel time and unpredictable weather conditions. When you arrive at Port Blair, you can explore different islands in Andaman by taking ships and boats that work between various islands.

Best time to visit Anamdnan is between October and March.

LANGUAGE BARRIER

• Hindi & English is spoken. 

PROHIBITION

• All kinds of drugs and narcotic substances, activities such as smuggling and prostitution are illegal in Andamans and will attract prosecution. Trespassing restricted areas, operating drones without permission and violation of any local rules and restriction should be avoided at all times.
• Smoking is prohibited in public areas. Few facilities like airports may provide designated areas for smoking.
• Alcohol Is prohibited on beaches. 
• Nudity is not permitted in any beaches, waterfalls, pools or other public/tourist areas. PDA is discouraged.

• Please note there are no star ratings at Andamans and we generally categorize the hotels by Standard, Deluxe, Special Beachside Combo, Luxury, Premium and Platinum. As per your request we have quoted with requested option
• Guest should be ready for check-in at the Havelock / Portblair/ Neil private ferry counter at least an hour prior to the vessel departure time

• Guest cannot carry Alcohol on board the Inter-Island ferry (Private & Govt) as the CISF check baggage’s before guest board the vessel and any alcohol found is confiscated. 
• If guest are visiting MG National Park then we need Valid Photo ID Proof Scans at least one week before travel date and in case we do not get the same tickets for MG National Park and the same is subject to availability. 
•  We request guest to carry light luggage while travelling to Havelock as there is a long walk from the drop point to the ferry point and there are very few paid porters to assist with luggage. Payment or  porters if required will need to be made directly by the guest.
• Kindly note that the package cost has been calculated based on the itinerary, exclusions and inclusions as shared by us kindly go through the same before confirming the package. 
• Time chosen for Travel – Many of the client have mentioned that they have booked the tour very well in advance so why isn’t the best room allotted to them. When the client choose to travel in the month of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May & this happens to be the busiest months for
• Andaman Islands. Kindly be updated that the area of Andaman Islands are not developed like many other areas in India & world. We understand very well the size of India & its population. We also understand well that most of India is now seeking a exotic and adventurous destination. There are not many places where one can go for pristine beaches except Andaman Islands. During season due to limited rooms and heavy tourist inflow, the area runs out of capacity. Everything becomes chaotic. Delivering the promised becomes an issue. 
• Patience & understanding becomes an important part in getting the tour organized & making the holiday into a memorable one. This is where we & our services come into counting. 
• Uses of AC (Air Conditioner) in the Vehicle – The AC will be on when the car is on move only. Whiletravelling the clients would need AC, which will be switched on. When the car is travelling uphill AC will be switch off. 
• Cancellation – Since the vehicles are limited in number, cancellation rules will be applicable on the complete tour package including the transport cost.
• Please note that there are very Few AC Innova’s in Andaman Port Blair which are used by Government officials only. We have quoted with AC Xylo / Ertigat at Port Blair + Havelock & AC Vehicle at Neil.
• Being a small Island run by the Lt Governor many times Public Holidays are announced at a short notice for which we have no prior information due to which most Sightseeing Places are closed and while we try to provide guest an alternate itinerary or make them cover the same another day we do not have control over the same.
• Dry days in Andamans – Can be announced last minute by the administration and we have no control over the same
• Tickets for MG National Park, Ross Island Sound and Light Show, Cellular Jail Sound and Light Show are controlled by the Tourism Department to prevent black marketing and hence only limited tickets are issued per agent. Sometimes due to heavy rush tickets become sold out and we will then change the trip to an alternate itinerary.
• Please note at Port Blair there are ATM’s available however at Havelock there are only 02 ATM’s available on the Island with cash limitation and hence we recommend to carry enough cash for food/any extra activities like snorkeling/diving etc.. while traveling to Havelock and do note most hotels do not accept payment by credit card
• On Day 1 most guest are provided only with Cellular Jail and Sound and Light Show since most flights landing only by noon.

• We do not have star category hotels in our area and the same cannot be compared with the Hotels of other developed destinations. For the understanding we have termed as under:

• Premium - ‘SERVICES ARE SIMILAR TO A 4 STAR DELUXE HOTEL (Other than Diglipur). 
• Luxury B: SERVICES ARE SIMILAR TO A 4 STAR HOTEL
• Luxury A: SERVICES ARE SIMILAR TO BASIC 4 STAR HOTEL
• Deluxe B: SERVICES ARE SIMILAR TO A 3 STAR HOTEL
• Deluxe A: SERVICES ARE SIMILAR TO A ENTRY LEVEL 3 STAR HOTEL
• Standard: SERVICES ARE SIMILAR TO A ENTRY LEVEL 2 STAR HOTEL
• Check-in time at Hotel will be 1200 Hrs & Check-out time will be 0800 Hrs. All the bookings are nontransferable & all in-house hotel rules will be effective during your stay. As imposed by the Government Valid photo ID for all members staying at the hotel is mandatory. For early check in / late checkout / extending of stay, will be completely subjected to the availability as per the situation then. 
• For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS or ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed. 
• We have selected, combined & graded the hotels in a manner, so that you get similar standard of services & facilities at every destination / place of retirement other than specific grade like STANDARD.
• As the area is backward it is quite obvious that the constructions of the hotels are unplanned. This further means that most of the selected hotels are located in the city centers. These hotels may have the view of the building in the front, beside or behind them. As the services are under mark in the area, we have made our hotel selection on the basis of SERVICES provided by them.
• In our area, most of the hotels do not have lift. You will have to climb stairs to reach your allotted rooms. Incase any of you, have problems with blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or if you cannot climb the higher floors, we will request you to report this immediately, so that we handle it with care, before the Hotels assign you your room, which will be convenient than the ones quoted/reserved for you. DIFFERENCE IF ANY WILL HAVE TO BE SETTELED DIRECTLY BEFORE CHECK OUT. 
• Since these are Islands there is scarcity of water & electricity which is natural phenomenon. Everybody buys water for their day-to-day needs & have learnt to live even without electricity. In case of Load Shedding, kindly bear with such situation. To overcome the water crisis certain hotels have fixed schedule for supplying water. We strongly regret the inconvenience.
• Most hotels at Havelock do not have Hot Water Facility. If client is specific please check at booking stage so that we can quote hotel accordingly. 
• Please note that while Andaman Islands have very rich sea life however due to lack of commercial fishing and high consumption by locals itself, sea food availability is limited and expensive. Most hotels serve only chicken during meals and Lobster and Prawns are always at extra price and never included. 
• Some Budget Hotels/ STD Hotels do not have generator and only invertor for power back up and incase of load shedding only fan and light will work on back up and that too for few hours. 
• NO WIFI Internet Facility is available at any Hotel at Havelock and only Deluxe/ Luxury/ Premium Hotels have Wi Fi/ Internet facility and that too in lobby only. 
• NOTE: It is assumed and understood that you have shared the “Hotel Category Description” to all guest prior to confirming the hotel as once we have made payment to the hotel a change in hotel will not be possible.

Note on Transportation 

• The vehicle used will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). It will change sector wise. At Port Blair we generally provide XYLO, Ertiga and at Havelock TATA Sumo /Xyl0 or similar and at Neil Island Eeco or similar. 
• At Havelock and Neil as the area is backward & due to unwritten syndicate rules your vehicle & drivers will change for every transfer & sightseeing. These drivers come from remote places and are not educated in tourism etiquette and some of them do not know how to speak & behave. You are requested to be soft & gentle with your drivers. 
• Often in past guests like you, have been misguided by such drivers. We would like to inform you not to listen to such people & reconfirm whatever they say with your TOUR CO-ORDINATOR inform you. 
• As the vehicles & drivers change always, we will request you to be very careful with personal belongings. Once left in the vehicle, there is, almost nil or little chance, of getting it back. 
• Due to shortage in space for parking, please be informed that you will have to be ready on time & wait in the lobby. Due to uncalculated situations the vehicle reporting may get delayed. We will request you to bear with us and as soon as vehicle arrives you will have to get in, within few seconds, before the policeman blow his whistle. 
• As per Motor Vehicle Act capacity of a Luxury Vehicle (Scorpio / Xylo) is 06 pax including Adult or Child. Also while opting for Luxury Vehicle please travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person. However for comfortable & safe traveling it is advisable to fit in maximum 04 to 05 adult in a Luxury vehicle. 

General Operations:

• The Islands maybe backward but rich in Nature and cannot be matched to those to Maldives and Mauritius or any developed Island Destination. We strongly regret this constraint of the area. 
• In case of any Flight / Train Cancellation has affected the operation of the Tours then the Company will not be responsible for the same and the cancellation as per the policy will be applicable. 
• The 1st Day tour Meal starts with Dinner at the booked hotel & ends with Breakfast at the booked hotel, on the last day for all the bookings on MAPAI. For APAI 1st Day tour Meal starts with Lunch at the booked hotel & ends with Packet lunch from the booked hotel on the last day. 
• Andaman Islands have tropical climate and it is advisable that light layer clothing should be carried always. In monsoons it is advisable to carry raincoats and umbrellas. 
• Ferry Cancellation happens sometimes (4-5 times) a year due to rough seas. EXPENSES INCURRED FOR DIVERSION, DUE TO THIS OR ANY OTHER REASONS WILL BE COLLECTED DIRECTLY AS PER ACTUAL EXPENDITURE INCURRED. 
• Kindly be informed that we make contingency plans so that the sightseeing points do not fall on a closing day. 
• Incase due to inevitable situation if the sightseeing falls on a closing day, it will have to be left out & can be carried forward to the next day. 
• Sightseeing point remains closed on Central Government & Bank National Holidays. The points which are closed 
• ON SUNDAY, CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, BANK & NATIONAL HOLIDAYS are Chatham Saw Mill and Forest Musuem.
• ON MONDAY, CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, BANK & NATIONAL HOLIDAYS are Cellular Jail ( Light and Sound show in the evening is open), Anthropological Museum and Naval Marine. MG National Park and Baratang are also shut 
• ON WEDNESDAY, CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, BANK & NATIONAL HOLIDAYS are North Bay and Ross Island and Fisheries Museum 
• People with knees, heart & blood pressure problem & having children below 10 years should avoid going to for diving unless they are carrying a MEDICAL Certificate from there doctor. 
• Due to non availability of night life the whole area goes to bed early & wakes up early. We request you to go to bed on time so that next day you can start your tour early. 
• There will be no refund of any unutilized service in part or in full what so ever may be the reason. 

PHONE CONNECTIVITY

• There are telephone lines but due to cable fault and weak signal, it is often out of order. Vodafone,Airtel & BSNL operates better in Port Blair and at Havelock/ Neil Airtel and BSNL work Better. Most times calls do not go through and best to leave a SMS and the person will return the call when you come into a network area. 
• Mobile internet seldom works and is very slow. No emails will work on your handphone. 

• Please note that whereas we undertake to provide you with a place on the sailing, a fixed seat is sometimes not possible and you may have to travel on deck. By default we book only the base category in Government Ferry. 
• Ferry timings are subject to change at the government's discretion, and we assume no liability for disruption in schedule owing to the same, although we will do our best to implement your itinerary to the fullest and provide you with commensurate back-up options in case you are stranded for (say) the first night at Port Blair and the cost of the same will need to be borne by the guest. 
• For all foreign national the RAP is required to book tickets and hence can only be bought after your arrival subject to availability. Our liability is limited to the value of the ticket. 
• In case of foreign nationals/NRI/OCI tickets can only be bought after you land since the RAP number is mandatory to book the tickets and hence we cannot guarantee availability of tickets. In case you would like a guaranteed ticket you should book a flight that allows you to connect to Makruzz which departs at 0800 hrs from PB- Havelock for which we can book tickets one month in advance. For Indian nationals tickets can be booked only 02 days in advance and all tickets and seats are subject to availability. We require an ID proof of all Indian Nationals.
