City / Kathmandu Durbar Square in front of the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom is one of three Durbar (royal palace) Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Several buildings in the Square collapsed due to a major earthquake on 25 April 2015, Durbar Square was surrounded with spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newar artists craftsmen over several centuries. Kathmandu's Durbar Square is the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex, which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch, took place. The palace is decorated with elaborately-carved wooden windows and panels and houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum and the Mahendra Museum. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Rickshaw ride at Thamel.</span></div>

Fly to Pokhara. Pokhara is 30 mins flight from Kathmandu. From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) in good weather there are splendid views right from the hotel.&nbsp; Overnight at hotel.

<div>Drive to Naya Pul. Trek from here to Ulleri &amp; then to Ghorepani (2860m m.) takes about 8-9 hours. To begin your trek, you could ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way, you could see good view of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) South. Now your trail is quite easier passing through rhododendron and shadowy trees and descends gently up to the final camp. You could see some of the wild life such as monkey and various species of birds.</div>

Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) Early morning trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast trek Ghorepani to Ghandruk (1950m.) and it takes about four hours. It is very easy trek by descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. You could hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way. This is one of the popular destinations for the birds' lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. There is a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. From this village you could see good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail.

Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk and drive back to Pokhara and transfer to the hotel.

There are at least 29 Tibetan Gompas (Monasteries &amp; Nunneries) around Boudhanath. Situated on a three level Mandala style platform, the Stupa is visited by millions of devotees. <span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Patan, the oldest of all the three cities of Kathmandu valley. It is the best known for its artistic heritage. It is probably one of the oldest Buddhist City in the world. The city is situated on a plateau across Bagmati River. Another name of Patan, is Lalitpur. The city is surrounded by 4 Stupas as 4 corners of Patan, one at each corner of its cardinal points. These stupas are said to have been built by the famous Emperor Ashoka. This is one of the most elegant architectural treasures of which Patan is very proud. About the beauty of Patan, a western lady writer has to say this - &quot;Patan means eternity itself and Patan Durbar Square is the spectacular sight of Asia indeed&quot;. Really it is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments with bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonderful carvings and many visitors come here to see these monuments. Patan Durbar square is the famous visiting place. The square is full of ancient places, temples, and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. There are three main courtyards or chowks, so named central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk in the square. The Sundari Chowk holds in its center a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal bath called Tushahity.</span>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The Tharu is the one of the largest ethnic groups in Nepal with a population of approximately 2.6 million. The main objective is to conserve national traditions and also to utilize local resources for sustainable development and conserve natural resource. The Tharu Cultural Museum itself houses medium and small sized collections. It receives funds from its cultural shows, souvenir and handicraft shop, food festivals and museum fees.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">It’s also called the “Monkey Temple” by the locals (as it’s thronged by monkeys all the time!) is a fascinating destination – a perfect ambigature of Hindu and Buddhist ideologies. There is a mythology attached with this temple, which has its own combinations! But the fact is once the entire area of the temple was filled with water. It is in this water that Lotus grew. And thus came out the name Self Created” or Swayambhu! It has been taken from the eternal flame of Hindus over which a STUPA was built. And thus what we see today is the huge massive Nepal architecture called Swayambhunath Temple.</span>

<div>Not a single time we had to wait for anything, though the full trip has been shared by three different suppliers, all have performed the best work. Not a single minute waiting for a driver. They are always 10 minutes early then the scheduled time.</div>
<div>Talking about driver cum guides they always behaved as if we are their friends or relatives, they haven't looked at itinerary or timing. Just tried to provide best to the extend they can. Even small-small things has been taken care by them. Even purchasing of local sim, water, food etc was been taken care very nicely. All the guides are well experienced and they really know their work and duty. All of them posses a good amount of knowledge of their particular area. And the best part what we noticed is they are always updated and most of the time we saw them reading books to improve their services. April (Joburg) was reading the book of History, Chrish (Kruger) was reading nooks of wild life, Pierre (Garden rout) himself is a professor and always keep on enhancing his knowledge. I have always saw them passionate to give us best service and have never worked just to finish the itinerary.</div>
<div>The best guide we have ever met is Pierre. The way he has managed our trip, no one would have done it. He always had information for weather forecast and accordingly he planned our itinerary to cover all the attractions. The best part was Table mountain, if he has not planned it, we would have surely missed that. You really need such kind of guides in your contract.&nbsp;</div>
<div>And the most important thing which I have never expected (sorry for this) is your messages on daily basis for schedule, places to cover, and guidance of the attractions and restaurants. <div>Hotel: Hotel was very nice and comfortable room arrangement as i got twin room which is more spacious then 2 BHK. Location is very near to little India and all Indian food items available within one KM range. I recommend this Hotel apartment for Family of Four and above.</div>
<div>Transportation: Pick up and drop timing maintained through out Tour. All drivers were cooperative and polite.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Local agent: Local agent is responsive and all vouchers and tickets were perfect.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Cruise: Cruise was fantastic, food was good and other area was impressive except there is to much rush at restaurant and mesh up for siting. Check in and boarding process is to long due to 3500 passengers. It took 5 hours to board my room and that was hectic time. I recommend minimum 3 nights cruise.</div>
<div>SENTOSA is joyful area and I have 20 admission per person which is more then enough as we can enjoy all type off rides. Enjoyed 3D/4D shows, Madam tusade museum, SEA, wings of time, sky tower, beach area, mono rail, two cable car.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Bicycle Tour: Fully enjoyed bicycle tour with guide and i am recommending this tour as on bi cycle covered most at marina bay area and it is fantastic to roam on bi cycle at this area. There was little bit confusion over location of starting point as driver dont know location and he has dropped 3 KM away but I have managed with support of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Maitri</span>. <div>City Tour: City tour with flyer enjoyed with experienced guide. Need more then 4 hours for city tour with flyer. Evening enjoyed flower dome, cloud forest and MBS park.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Jurong bird park was good but very short time for bird lovers. Night safari not enjoyed as nothing to see in dark nights and very limited animals available in this area and also too late. I am not recommending this tour. I thing Zoo is better then this as in day light we can see all animals clearly.</div>

<div>Visits to the Disney Land, Eiffel tower and Madame tussauds in UK were a great experience to my children whereas visits to Swarovski, the glass factory and in particular, all the time spent of the street shopping were delightful experiences to my wife. We did enjoy the pedaling boat ride at Edinburg and Gondola ride in Venice. And of course the highlight was Mt Titlis and Jungfrau which are truly amazing.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>
<div>It was so interesting to learn about the countries and their history, the guides were good, helpful and they were so punctual as well.</div>
<div>All and all it was a very composed and well-designed itinerary.</div>
