Two years after Hideyoshi's death in 1598, however, his military rival Tokugawa Ieyasu defeated Toyotomi troops in the great Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. The decisive victory gave the Tokugawas full control of the whole of Japan, leading to the start of the Tokugawa shogunate and the Edo period in 1603. Osaka Castle fell to the Tokugawa army in 1615, in a siege that resulted in the total annihilation of the Toyotomi clan. In the Boshin War of 1868, the castle was captured by pro-imperial forces. The new Meiji government demolished the castle and used the grounds for military barracks. The castle was rebuilt in 1931, but was used as a military arsenal. As a result, it was targeted by American forces during World War II and the rebuilt main tower was destroyed again. The current rebuild was finished in 1997. It is constructed in concrete to the specifications of the original tower, and the interior now contains a museum documenting the castle's tumultuous history.</div>

Under ideal conditions, whirlpools of up to 20 meters in diameters can be observed. On the other hand, there is not much to see on calm days or outside of the peak times. Tokyo Station is a beautiful, nostalgic red brick building and is on the must-see for every tourist in Japan. However, the station is so large, it’s easy to get lost!

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Arashiyama Bamboo Path is a short 500 meter path through the Sagano Bamboo Forest that's well maintained with attractive thatch fences complete with little doors for small animals. The bamboo surrounding the path is regularly harvested for crafts that are available from small shops in the area. However, the bamboo is allowed to grow to its full height. The pathway is remarkably quiet at times and somewhat busy at others. It's usually possible to get a photo of the pathway empty if you wait out the crowds. The area around the path is populated with small temples and quiet streets that have a village-like atmosphere.</p>

<div style="text-align: justify; ">The current Imperial Palace (Kokyo) is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo, a short walk from Tokyo Station. It is the residence of Japan's Imperial Family. Edo Castle used to be the seat of the Tokugawa shogun who ruled Japan from 1603 until 1867. The palace was once destroyed during World War Two, and rebuilt in the same style, afterwards. The current palace grounds were the site of Edo Castle, and before that, the residence of warrior Edo Shigetsugu. The land was close to Hibiya, which was then a beach, and was a strong flatlands location, strengthened by moats.</div>

<p style="text-align: justify; ">The National Diet Building is the building where both houses of the National Diet of Japan meet. It is located at Nagatacho 1-chome 7–1, Chiyoda, Tokyo. Sessions of the House of Representatives take place in the left wing and sessions of the House of Councillors in the right wing.&nbsp;</p>

<div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The Tokyo Skytree is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. It is the centerpiece of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City Ward. With a height of 634 meters (634 can be read as "Musashi", a historic name of the Tokyo Region), it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion, It’s completed in 2012. A large shopping complex with aquarium is located at its base.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The Tokyo Skytree is its two observation decks which offer spectacular views out over Tokyo. The two enclosed decks are located at heights of 350 and 450 meters respectively, making them the highest observation decks in Japan and some of the highest in the world. Tembo Deck, the lower of the two decks is 350 meters high and spans three levels with great views from all of its floors. A second set of elevators connects the Tembo Deck to the 450 meter high Tembo Gallery. Dubbed "the world's highest skywalk", the Tembo Gallery consists of a sloping spiral ramp that gains height as it circles the tower. The construction of the steel and glass tube allows visitors to look down from the dizzying height of the tower and out over the Kanto Region to spectacular distances.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The Ginza is Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes. Ginza district was the site of a silver coin mint (Ginza means "silver mint" in Japanese). Ginza is the most expensive area in Tokyo. One square meter of land in the district's center is worth over ten million yen (even over 30 millions Yen for commercial properties), making it one of the most expensive real estate in Japan. It is where you can find the infamous $10 cups of coffee and where virtually every leading brand name in fashion and cosmetics has a presence.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Ginza’s main street called “Chuo Dori” is approx 1 km long and the street is closed for traffic for pedestrians to walk freely on weekends. The street is lined up with massive department stores, boutiques, souvenir stores and it’s the best place to shop both Japanese and international brands. Along with the luxury stores like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Bvlgari and more, there are also affordable shops like Uniqlo, H&amp;M, Zara, GU, GAP and electronic gadgets shops like Big Camera (electronic department store),Sony show room and Apple Store.</span></div>

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Traditional Ueno is known for ornate Shinto and Zen landmarks, including 17th-century Benzaiten temple, on an island in Ueno Park. Nearby, Tokyo National Museum displays Japanese antiquities, while the National Museum of Western Art houses works by Van Gogh and Picasso. Also in the park is Ueno Zoo, current home of beloved giant panda Xiang Xiang. Ameya-Yokocho is a vast open-air food and handicrafts market.</span></p>

<div>Not a single time we had to wait for anything, though the full trip has been shared by three different suppliers, all have performed the best work. Not a single minute waiting for a driver. They are always 10 minutes early then the scheduled time.</div>
<div>Talking about driver cum guides they always behaved as if we are their friends or relatives, they haven't looked at itinerary or timing. Just tried to provide best to the extend they can. Even small-small things has been taken care by them. Even purchasing of local sim, water, food etc was been taken care very nicely. All the guides are well experienced and they really know their work and duty. All of them posses a good amount of knowledge of their particular area. And the best part what we noticed is they are always updated and most of the time we saw them reading books to improve their services. April (Joburg) was reading the book of History, Chrish (Kruger) was reading nooks of wild life, Pierre (Garden rout) himself is a professor and always keep on enhancing his knowledge. I have always saw them passionate to give us best service and have never worked just to finish the itinerary.</div>
<div>The best guide we have ever met is Pierre. The way he has managed our trip, no one would have done it. He always had information for weather forecast and accordingly he planned our itinerary to cover all the attractions. The best part was Table mountain, if he has not planned it, we would have surely missed that. You really need such kind of guides in your contract.&nbsp;</div>
<div>And the most important thing which I have never expected (sorry for this) is your messages on daily basis for schedule, places to cover, and guidance of the attractions and restaurants. If you would have not suggested, we would have missed out some of the important attractions in our tour which are must do things. A big Thanks for this.....&nbsp;</div>

<div>Hotel: Hotel was very nice and comfortable room arrangement as i got twin room which is more spacious then 2 BHK. Location is very near to little India and all Indian food items available within one KM range. I recommend this Hotel apartment for Family of Four and above.</div>
<div>Transportation: Pick up and drop timing maintained through out Tour. All drivers were cooperative and polite.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Local agent: Local agent is responsive and all vouchers and tickets were perfect.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Cruise: Cruise was fantastic, food was good and other area was impressive except there is to much rush at restaurant and mesh up for siting. Check in and boarding process is to long due to 3500 passengers. It took 5 hours to board my room and that was hectic time. I recommend minimum 3 nights cruise.</div>
<div>SENTOSA is joyful area and I have 20 admission per person which is more then enough as we can enjoy all type off rides. Enjoyed 3D/4D shows, Madam tusade museum, SEA, wings of time, sky tower, beach area, mono rail, two cable car.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Bicycle Tour: Fully enjoyed bicycle tour with guide and i am recommending this tour as on bi cycle covered most at marina bay area and it is fantastic to roam on bi cycle at this area. There was little bit confusion over location of starting point as driver dont know location and he has dropped 3 KM away but I have managed with support of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Maitri</span>. Thanks to Maitri...</div>
<div>City Tour: City tour with flyer enjoyed with experienced guide. Need more then 4 hours for city tour with flyer. Evening enjoyed flower dome, cloud forest and MBS park.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Jurong bird park was good but very short time for bird lovers. Night safari not enjoyed as nothing to see in dark nights and very limited animals available in this area and also too late. I am not recommending this tour. I thing Zoo is better then this as in day light we can see all animals clearly.</div>

We did enjoy the pedaling boat ride at Edinburg and Gondola ride in Venice. And of course the highlight was Mt Titlis and Jungfrau which are truly amazing.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>
<div>It was so interesting to learn about the countries and their history, the guides were good, helpful and they were so punctual as well.</div>
<div>All and all it was a very composed and well-designed itinerary.</div>
