With a height of 634 meters (634 can be read as "Musashi", a historic name of the Tokyo Region), it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion, It’s completed in 2012. When the bomb exploded, it was one of the few buildings to remain standing and remains so today. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the A-Bomb Dome is a tangible link to Hiroshima's unique past.<br></p>

<div>Tōdai-ji is a Buddhist temple complex that was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples, located in the city of Nara, Japan. The construction of the temple was an attempt to imitate Chinese temples from the much-admired Tang dynasty.</div><div><br></div><div>The origins of Tōdai-ji lie in a temple called Kinshō-ji which was founded in 728 for the repose of the spirit of Crown Prince Motoi, son of Emperor Shōmu (r. 724-749). In 741 when the Emperor issued his edict ordering the construction of a national system of monasteries (Kinkōmyō-ji) known as the Kokubun-ji, Kinshō-ji was elevated in status. In 743 Emperor Shōmu issued his proclamation for the erection of a Great Buddha Image and when the capital was returned to Heijō (Nara) construction of the colossal image of Vairocana was begun on the grounds of the Kinkōmyō-ji and was completed in 749. Construction of the Great Buddha Hall took place concurrently and the image was dedicated in 752 with a lavish consecration ceremony. Subsequently the Office for the Construction of Tōdai-ji supervised the building of the West and East Pagodas, the Lecture Hall and Monks’ Quarters to complete the temple complex.</div><div>Because Tōdai-ji was the chief temple in the Kokubun-ji system, it was a center for rituals for the peace of the nation and the prosperity of the people; it also functioned, however, as a center for the training of scholar monks who studied Buddhist doctrine.</div><div>In 855 the head of the Great Buddha fell off in a major earthquake. The image was quickly restored. In subsequent years fires and lightning destroyed the Lecture Hall, the Monks’ Quarters and the West Pagoda. In 1180 more than half of the compound including the Great Buddha Hall was destroyed in the fire that resulted from the attack on the Nara temples by Taira no Shigehira. In the next year restoration of the temple was begun by the monk Chōgen (1121-1206) and in 1185 the Great Buddha was consecrated. In the following year the Province of Suō (Yamaguchi Prefecture) was designated to provide income for the reconstruction of Tōdai-ji and the pace of the work increased. Ten years later the Great Buddha Hall was completed. As the temple was reconstructed scholastic activities which had been stagnant were also revived and during the Kamakura period (1185-1333) the temple trained many scholar-monks.</div><div>In 1567, however, the temple burned again during a skirmish between the Miyoshi and Matsunaga clans, and the only structures not burned were the Nigatsu-dō, Hokke-dō, Great South Gate, Tegai-mon Gate, Shōsō-in and the Bell Tower. Because the country was at war, restoration was extremely difficult and the only repairs that could be made were to cover the head of the Great Buddha with copper sheathing. Finally in the mid-Edo period the monk Kōkei (1648-1705) petitioned the shogunal government for permission to solicit donations throughout the land and to seek the assistance of some powerful warlords and thus a proper restoration was finally begun. As a result of these efforts, the present Great Buddha was consecrated in 1692 and the Great Buddha Hall was dedicated In 1709.</div><div>After the start of the Meiji period in 1868 edicts legislating the separation of Shinto and Buddhist religious establishments and the confiscation of temple lands threatened the existence of Tōdai-ji. Nevertheless, the temple managed to carry out major repairs to the Great Buddha Hall at the start of this century and again in the 1970s and has striven to preserve the extensive compound with all its structures. Tōdai-ji today preserves many precious cultural treasures from the temple’s past, yet it also is a treasure house of traditional Buddhist rituals such as the Shuni-e held at the Nigatsu-dō. Many people from throughout Japan and the world visit the temple to worship and pay their respects every year.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Dōtonbori or Dōtombori is a district in Osaka, Japan. Known as one of Osaka's principal tourist and nightlife areas, the area runs along the Dōtonbori canal from Dōtonboribashi Bridge to Nipponbashi Bridge in the Namba district of the city's Chūō ward.</div>

<div>The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is a museum located in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, in central Hiroshima, Japan, dedicated to documenting the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in World War II. The name Kinkaku-ji means the Temple of the Golden Pavilion. Constructed in Kyoto's northern hills in 1398 by Yoshimitsu, the third Ashikaga shogun, it was once part of a much larger villa complex. When he died it became a Zen temple in accordance with his will. Kinkakuji is an impressive structure built overlooking a large pond, and is the only building left of Yoshimitsu's former retirement complex. It has burned down numerous times throughout its history including twice during the Onin War, a civil war that destroyed much of Kyoto; and once again more recently in 1950 when it was set on fire by a fanatic monk. The present structure was rebuilt in 1955. We provides outside view of the temple. Each floor represents a different style of architecture. The first floor is built in the Shinden style used for palace buildings during the Heian Period, and with its natural wood pillars and white plaster walls contrasts yet complements the gilded upper stories of the pavilion. Statues of the Shaka Buddha (historical Buddha) and Yoshimitsu are stored in the first floor. Although it is not possible to enter the pavilion, the statues can be viewed from across the pond if you look closely, as the front windows of the first floor are usually kept open. The second floor is built in the Bukke style used in samurai residences, and has its exterior completely covered in gold leaf. Inside is a seated Kannon Bodhisattva surrounded by statues of the Four Heavenly Kings; however, the statues are not shown to the public. Finally, the third and uppermost floor is built in the style of a Chinese Zen Hall, is gilded inside and out, and is capped with a golden phoenix. The third level is built in the Zen style, with cusped windows and ornamentation. Appropriately, it houses an Amida triad and twenty-five Bodhisattvas. A Chinese phoenix crowns the eaves.

The origin of Asakusa Sensoji Temple dates way back to the 6th century. It is said that in 628,&nbsp; two brothers, the Hinokuma brothers, who were fishing at a river nearby, happened to fish a Buddha statue. The brothers brought the Buddha statue home, rebuilt their home into a temple, and started a temple which later came to be known as Asakusa Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Sensoji Temple is known to bring luck for almost anything: health, studies, love, etc. In front of the main hall of the temple, you will see many people covering themselves with smoke. The smoke they are covering themselves with, is believed to make the part they covered with smoke better. Therefore, many people pat smoke on their head in order to make themselves smarter. Asakusa Sensoji Temple is not just a normal shrine. It has a long path called “Nakamise-dori”, a path jam packed with souvenir stores all along the way to the main hall. You can find anything here: Kimonos, chopsticks, fans, Japanese confectionary, keychains, T-shirts, you name it. Locals tend to buy “Ningyo-yaki”or “Kaminari-Okoshi.” Ningyo-yaki is something like baked pancake dough with red bean paste in it, and Kaminari-Okoshis are Japanese-style rice crispies. The Sensoji Kannon temple is dedicated to Kannon Bosatsu, the Bodhisattva of compassion, and is the most widely visited spiritual site in the world with over 30 million visitors annually.</span><br></div>

Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced. Additionally, Owakudani has good views of Mount Fuji on clear days.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Eggs cooked in Owakudani's hot spring pools with their shells blackened by the sulfur are on sale at shops in the area, and eating one is said to prolong one's life by seven years.</p><p><span style="text-align: justify;"></span></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">A short walking trail leads from the ropeway station into the volcanic zone to a number of steam vents and bubbling pools. The walk takes around 30 minutes in total. Admission to the trail requires advance reservations and costs 800 yen.</p>

The fox is seen as the messenger of the god of grain foods, Inari, and the stone foxes are often known by the same name. The keys often depicted in the fox mouths are keys to granaries. This shrine is the central location for some 40,000 Inari shrines throughout the entirety of Japan.</span></div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">The island takes its name because of this shrine. Originally named Itsukushima the same as the shrine and subsequently Miyajima which literally means Shrine Island.&nbsp; The floating torii was the entrance gate for this shrine, once accessed by boat directly to the shrines own pier.&nbsp; The shrines spirituality is intense, even crowded with people so it’s not surprising that the island has been recognized as a spiritual place for so long. <div>To be very frank, I haven't expected such a nice services from you at the time of booking the tour but your confidence to provide the best has led me to book this trip with you and you have really proved it.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Not a single time we had to wait for anything, though the full trip has been shared by three different suppliers, all have performed the best work. Not a single minute waiting for a driver. They are always 10 minutes early then the scheduled time.</div>
<div>Talking about driver cum guides they always behaved as if we are their friends or relatives, they haven't looked at itinerary or timing. Just tried to provide best to the extend they can. Even small-small things has been taken care by them. Even purchasing of local sim, water, food etc was been taken care very nicely. All the guides are well experienced and they really know their work and duty. All of them posses a good amount of knowledge of their particular area. And the best part what we noticed is they are always updated and most of the time we saw them reading books to improve their services. April (Joburg) was reading the book of History, Chrish (Kruger) was reading nooks of wild life, Pierre (Garden rout) himself is a professor and always keep on enhancing his knowledge. I have always saw them passionate to give us best service and have never worked just to finish the itinerary.</div>
<div>The best guide we have ever met is Pierre. The way he has managed our trip, no one would have done it. He always had information for weather forecast and accordingly he planned our itinerary to cover all the attractions. The best part was Table mountain, if he has not planned it, we would have surely missed that. You really need such kind of guides in your contract.&nbsp;</div>
<div>And the most important thing which I have never expected (sorry for this) is your messages on daily basis for schedule, places to cover, and guidance of the attractions and restaurants. If you would have not suggested, we would have missed out some of the important attractions in our tour which are must do things. A big Thanks for this.....&nbsp;</div>

<div>First of all Thanks to Team Flamingo for making my trip joyful.</div>
<div>Hotel: Hotel was very nice and comfortable room arrangement as i got twin room which is more spacious then 2 BHK. Location is very near to little India and all Indian food items available within one KM range. I recommend this Hotel apartment for Family of Four and above.</div>
<div>Transportation: Pick up and drop timing maintained through out Tour. All drivers were cooperative and polite.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Local agent: Local agent is responsive and all vouchers and tickets were perfect.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Cruise: Cruise was fantastic, food was good and other area was impressive except there is to much rush at restaurant and mesh up for siting. Check in and boarding process is to long due to 3500 passengers. It took 5 hours to board my room and that was hectic time. I recommend minimum 3 nights cruise.</div>
<div>SENTOSA is joyful area and I have 20 admission per person which is more then enough as we can enjoy all type off rides. Enjoyed 3D/4D shows, Madam tusade museum, SEA, wings of time, sky tower, beach area, mono rail, two cable car.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Bicycle Tour: Fully enjoyed bicycle tour with guide and i am recommending this tour as on bi cycle covered most at marina bay area and it is fantastic to roam on bi cycle at this area. There was little bit confusion over location of starting point as driver dont know location and he has dropped 3 KM away but I have managed with support of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Maitri</span>. Thanks to Maitri...</div>
<div>City Tour: City tour with flyer enjoyed with experienced guide. Need more then 4 hours for city tour with flyer. Evening enjoyed flower dome, cloud forest and MBS park.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Jurong bird park was good but very short time for bird lovers. Night safari not enjoyed as nothing to see in dark nights and very limited animals available in this area and also too late. I am not recommending this tour. I thing Zoo is better then this as in day light we can see all animals clearly.</div>

<div>when you have whole group of NRI people then please have light lunch like sandwiches like Subway or something like that.</div>
<div>Everyone can’t eat Indian food in lunch. Because we everyone don’t eat heavy lunch.</div>
<div>In evening it’s ok but not in lunch. Have some days Chinese Veg food, or something different.Pasta ,pizza and so forth..</div>
<div>People get tired of Indian food specially whole group of NRI</div>

Enjoyed Whole Trip To Singapore and Malaysia

<div>We have arrived back in QATAR last week from the fantastic 19days trip in UK and Europe which you and your Company organized for us. We would like to congratulate you all as everything went so well, a meticulous effort from Flamingo side.&nbsp;</div>
<div>We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation; the people, the food, the hotels and sites visited were all excellent.</div>
<div>Barring the Apartciti at Rome, we would also like to say you’re choice of Hotels was excellent at all cities and we had a comfortable stay. A special mention to all the hotels chosen for one night stay was excellent!</div>
<div>Visits to the Disney Land, Eiffel tower and Madame tussauds in UK were a great experience to my children whereas visits to Swarovski, the glass factory and in particular, all the time spent of the street shopping were delightful experiences to my wife. We did enjoy the pedaling boat ride at Edinburg and Gondola ride in Venice. And of course the highlight was Mt Titlis and Jungfrau which are truly amazing.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>
<div>It was so interesting to learn about the countries and their history, the guides were good, helpful and they were so punctual as well.</div>
<div>All and all it was a very composed and well-designed itinerary.</div>
<div>The quality of food in the restaurants visited and the selection of items are quite impressive and the Service offered by restaurants staff other representatives of your company both in UK and Europe was impeccable.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Last but not least, we would like to thank and wish to Mr. Michel and his wife Natasha (the Bus captains) for their great service. We wish all the best to them.</div>
