Zanskar is the river formed from the junction of two streams, Lungnak means &quot;dark gorge&quot; and Stod, which carries the melt water of the great Drang-drung glacier. Also, view the marvelous Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill located near Leh. The hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. Then, visit Military Hall of Fame, a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see biographies of eminent defense personalities, images and weapons used during Kargil war, Siachen and its heroes and their daily instruments and lifestyle of Ladakhi people. Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Leh district of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The local pronunciation is &quot;Khardong La&quot; or &quot;Khardzong La&quot; but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies. The pass on the Ladakh Range is north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys.

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Its waters, which seem to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, one-third of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China. Pangong Lake, one of the most famous lakes in Leh Ladakh, derives its name from the Tibetan word, “Pangong Tso”, which means “high grassland lake”. You could spend hours in contemplation here, and still not have enough of its beauty. Pangong Lake is also known to change colors, appearing blue, green and red at different times.</span>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The main and unique attraction of Diskit Monastery is a gigantic statue of Lord Buddha on the top of it. This popular monastery is located in the Nubra Valley Of ladakh. This famous tourist attraction is considered as one of the oldest as well as the largest Buddhist center in Ladakh. The Diskit monastery was constructed during the 14th century by Changzem Tserab Zangpo. The huge 100 foot Maitra Buddha statue was inaugurated by the well-known holy priest Dalai Lama is the key attraction among a number of tourists across the globe. It is considered to be a Buddhist temple by many, rather being a full fledged monastery. Mural paintings and carvings are unique to any other in the vicinity. Alchi Choksor Monastery is nestled by the rivers Indus and Zanksar and is about 70 kms away from Leh, along the Leh – Srinagar highway. Many consider the monastery complex together of the oldest within the region, probably dating back to quite 1000 years, but now there are not any monks living here and studying. It is very popular and more of a visiting place by sacred Buddhist scholars as well as visitors. One of the unique feature of this monastery is that it is built on the flat ground, with backdrops of high-rise mountains of the Himalayan ranges, which is not common with other monasteries in the Leh region. From the surface , the monastery won't appear to be existent in such glorious ways, as dilapidated buildings and houses surround the complex and sometimes it'd also appear as non-existent. It has always been found to be very realistic, yet thought inspiring as to the primary reason for the building of such a monastic complex.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><b>History :</b></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana;">It has not yet been clearly confirmed on the historical dates for the construction of the monastery complex, as there are variety of buildings included within the complex. Most common belief is that the famous translator Rinchen Zangpo arrived here in 10th century and created a couple of monasteries. With his efforts, many other monasteries came up within the Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and neighbouring areas and about 108 monasteries are credited to him. These monasteries are said to belong to the Vajrayana sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Under his influence, many artistic contributions were done by the Kashmiri artists. Beyond the leisure and monastic side of Ladakh, there are stunning silver sand dunes of Hunder in the Nubra Valley region. Like an oasis amidst the cold desert, Hunder Sand Dunes are beautiful beyond imagination. Located at an altitude of 4,000 meters, the desert is cut across by a gentle stream and the beautiful countryside. With such stunning landscapes against the backdrop of the snow-clad mountains, the Hunder Sand Dune looks nothing less than a fairy world. Beyond its beauty, the dunes are home to the Bactrian Camels, the major key players during the ancient silk route, and Pashmina Goats. Tourists can also go on a safari on the Bactrian camel that will take them back to the time when the trade was quite prominent within Central Asia and to the remote village of Hunder.</p>

The Hemis Monastery was built in 1630 and which is the biggest and very richly bestowed monastery of Ladakh. Magnificent and facinating, Hemis is different from the other important monasteries of Ladakh. The monastery is very well decorated on all 4 sides by colorful prayer flags which flutter in the breeze and send prayers to Lord Buddha.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana;">The main building has white walls. The stones of the walls are very well embellish and painted with religious figures. On the northern side are 2 assembly halls, and as in most of the monasteries one can also see the guardian deities and the Wheel of Life here. The Hemis Monastery also has an main library of Tibetan books and a very impressive and valuable collection of Thangkas, gold statues and Stupas embedded with precious stones.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana;">One of the largest Thangkas is displayed every twelve years during the Hemis Festival, held for 2 days in June - July. The annual festival, commemorating the birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava brings alive the courtyard of the monastery. The festival, where good triumphs over evil in a colorful pageant, also holds the annual 'bazaar' where local Ladakhis from remote areas buy and sell wares. During the festival, various rituals and mask dances are performed in this courtyard. It is a religious place for the Buddhists as it holds the relics of Buddha, dedicated by the 14th Dalai Lama. It is also very famous amongst tourists as it offers a stunning view of Leh and the nearby Changspa village. Shanti Stupa looks extraordinarily beautiful during the full moon night when it is naturally illuminated by the moonlight. It is at a distance of about 5 km drive by road from the Leh city or one can climb 500 steps to reach The Shanti Stupa. The location of Shanti Stupa is such that it is visible from all over Leh city.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Shanti Stupa was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist - Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The construction was jointly done by the Japanese as well as Ladakhi Buddhists to mark the completion of 2500 years of Buddhism and to promote world peace. It is also part of the peace pagoda mission, which aims to spread peace through the preaching of Buddha. <div>To be very frank, I haven't expected such a nice services from you at the time of booking the tour but your confidence to provide the best has led me to book this trip with you and you have really proved it.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Not a single time we had to wait for anything, though the full trip has been shared by three different suppliers, all have performed the best work. Not a single minute waiting for a driver. They are always 10 minutes early then the scheduled time.</div>
<div>Talking about driver cum guides they always behaved as if we are their friends or relatives, they haven't looked at itinerary or timing. Just tried to provide best to the extend they can. Even small-small things has been taken care by them. Even purchasing of local sim, water, food etc was been taken care very nicely. All the guides are well experienced and they really know their work and duty. All of them posses a good amount of knowledge of their particular area. And the best part what we noticed is they are always updated and most of the time we saw them reading books to improve their services. April (Joburg) was reading the book of History, Chrish (Kruger) was reading nooks of wild life, Pierre (Garden rout) himself is a professor and always keep on enhancing his knowledge. I have always saw them passionate to give us best service and have never worked just to finish the itinerary.</div>
<div>The best guide we have ever met is Pierre. The way he has managed our trip, no one would have done it. He always had information for weather forecast and accordingly he planned our itinerary to cover all the attractions. The best part was Table mountain, if he has not planned it, we would have surely missed that. You really need such kind of guides in your contract.&nbsp;</div>
<div>And the most important thing which I have never expected (sorry for this) is your messages on daily basis for schedule, places to cover, and guidance of the attractions and restaurants. If you would have not suggested, we would have missed out some of the important attractions in our tour which are must do things. A big Thanks for this.....&nbsp;</div>

<div>First of all Thanks to Team Flamingo for making my trip joyful.</div>
<div>Hotel: Hotel was very nice and comfortable room arrangement as i got twin room which is more spacious then 2 BHK. Location is very near to little India and all Indian food items available within one KM range. I recommend this Hotel apartment for Family of Four and above.</div>
<div>Transportation: Pick up and drop timing maintained through out Tour. All drivers were cooperative and polite.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Local agent: Local agent is responsive and all vouchers and tickets were perfect.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Cruise: Cruise was fantastic, food was good and other area was impressive except there is to much rush at restaurant and mesh up for siting. Check in and boarding process is to long due to 3500 passengers. It took 5 hours to board my room and that was hectic time. I recommend minimum 3 nights cruise.</div>
<div>SENTOSA is joyful area and I have 20 admission per person which is more then enough as we can enjoy all type off rides. Enjoyed 3D/4D shows, Madam tusade museum, SEA, wings of time, sky tower, beach area, mono rail, two cable car.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Bicycle Tour: Fully enjoyed bicycle tour with guide and i am recommending this tour as on bi cycle covered most at marina bay area and it is fantastic to roam on bi cycle at this area. There was little bit confusion over location of starting point as driver dont know location and he has dropped 3 KM away but I have managed with support of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Maitri</span>. Thanks to Maitri...</div>
<div>City Tour: City tour with flyer enjoyed with experienced guide. Need more then 4 hours for city tour with flyer. Evening enjoyed flower dome, cloud forest and MBS park.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Jurong bird park was good but very short time for bird lovers. Night safari not enjoyed as nothing to see in dark nights and very limited animals available in this area and also too late. I am not recommending this tour. I thing Zoo is better then this as in day light we can see all animals clearly.</div>

Enjoyed Whole Trip To Singapore and Malaysia

<div>We have arrived back in QATAR last week from the fantastic 19days trip in UK and Europe which you and your Company organized for us. We would like to congratulate you all as everything went so well, a meticulous effort from Flamingo side.&nbsp;</div>
<div>We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation; the people, the food, the hotels and sites visited were all excellent.</div>
<div>Barring the Apartciti at Rome, we would also like to say you’re choice of Hotels was excellent at all cities and we had a comfortable stay. A special mention to all the hotels chosen for one night stay was excellent!</div>
<div>Visits to the Disney Land, Eiffel tower and Madame tussauds in UK were a great experience to my children whereas visits to Swarovski, the glass factory and in particular, all the time spent of the street shopping were delightful experiences to my wife. We did enjoy the pedaling boat ride at Edinburg and Gondola ride in Venice. And of course the highlight was Mt Titlis and Jungfrau which are truly amazing.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>
<div>It was so interesting to learn about the countries and their history, the guides were good, helpful and they were so punctual as well.</div>
<div>All and all it was a very composed and well-designed itinerary.</div>
<div>The quality of food in the restaurants visited and the selection of items are quite impressive and the Service offered by restaurants staff other representatives of your company both in UK and Europe was impeccable.&nbsp;</div>
