Amboseli National Park (Game Drive)

The Amboseli National Park is located in the Kajiado district of the Rift Valley Province in Kenya on the border with Tanzania. It is known to be one of the top safari destinations in Africa and is famous for its landscape, dotted with African wildlife, with the magnificent snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background and is one of the most excellent places in Africa to observe large herds of elephants up close. Amboseli is known for its big skies and far horizons mixed with muddy springs and dry and dusty earth trampled by hundreds of animals. The name Amboseli is derived from a Maasai word which means “salty dust”. Nature lovers can travel around with five different habitats variety like the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  They can also go to see the local Maasai community who live around the park and get familiarized with their authentic culture.
