St Vitus Cathedral

The full name of St. Vitus Cathedral is The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert. This church is the biggest and most important church in the Czech Republic. The largest church in Prague is a mix of Gothic and Neo-Gothic architecture. This is the place where coronations of the Czech kings and queens took place. The church does not only have a huge worldly importance, but it also holds a significant religious importance on the context of   the place of burial of several patron saints and archbishops. The cathedral has been a part of the Prague Castle complex.This incredible building on the inside has tall vaults with diagonal ribs, peculiar column designs, vibrant stained glass windows and statues throughout.
